Today your child should be bringing home two math sheets to complete and  some of the kids also have to finish some writing and phonics workbook pages.  Memory for Monday is John 3:16, for many of us that seems like it should be easy as it is one of the  most well known verses in the bible but it is longer and sometimes difficult for the kids so please don't wait until Sunday night to work on it.

This week we have been working on the hard and soft G and C sounds.  They can be tricky but Flippy the Dolphin reminds us to sound the word out one way and if it doesn't make sense to flip to the other sound it makes.

We have also been learning about the Arctic Circle and several Arctic animals.  Hopefully as we continue learning about this "cool" part of the world your child will share what he/she is learning.

We had a great time at the library today.  I always love having them tell us about the library, read us stories and even perform a puppet show.  What a great time.
